Sew So Happy
Pat began sewing in 1963 as a teenager with a 4-H club making an outfit for the upcoming Dress Revue. She relocated to the Ithaca area in 1972 and it was the beginning of a lifetime of creating, developing and designing costumes for myself, my children, their children and my great grandchildren along with many others. I attended craft shows where my items were displayed and purchased as gifts or for personal use.
Most recently I made matching fleece pajamas for my entire family including newborns and will continue as they outgrow the previous year and move into larger sizes.
I take great pride in up-cycling items such as the shirt aprons, bird and pet food bags along with many other functional, useful and decorative items. Memory pillows and purses are popular to honor and remember a deceased family member.
Over the years I have mastered the arts of crochet, knitting, counted cross stitch, macramé, woodworking, ceramics, and most recently quilting. Each day is not complete until I have been at the sewing machine for even just a few minutes each day which makes me 'Sew So Happy!'
