My designs are best described as eclectic.

I found Zentangle when I was very ill, and looking for a way to meditate. I struggled with regular meditation, but Zentangle worked for me. Drawing remains my go-to for pain and anxiety.

The mixed media piece came later. The idea of combining paper with paint, ink, and stencils, and then adding my drawings just felt like a natural fit.

Then I discovered upcycling. Wow. The thought of “trash to treasure” truly resonates within my soul. My Facebook followers enjoy my “Today’s Upcycle” posts.

I digitize all my work, so I can reuse it on other projects. (Yes, I even upcycle my own stuff.) It all can be combined to create wall hangings, home decor pieces, cards, and scrapbook layouts.

I have had pieces in several local art shows and exhibits: the Chenango Arts Council in Norwich, GreenStar Co-op in Ithaca, Guthrie Hospital, the McNeil Building and CRT in Cortland, and Center for Arts in Homer
