Mimi’s Phase 1 Reopening Details

Hey, Mimi fans!

Our sales floor is not yet open to the public, but here’s what we’re up to and how we can still serve you!

  • We are at the store 7 days/week 10am – 4pm, ready and eager to help you make purchases over the phone. Call us at 607-882-9038 to make a purchase, PM us or email us at info@mimisatticithaca.com with questions. Sales are completed in the order calls are received. 
  • Sorry, we are not currently offering holds. 
  •  All purchases made can be picked up outside the store by appointment, between 10am and 4pm. If those times do not work for you, we are happy to work with you to make arrangements for you to pick up your items. 
  • We are not able to take returns at this time. We will send you photos as needed so you can get an accurate idea of the item’s condition before committing to purchasing it.
  • We are bringing staff back in stages and will soon be increasing the hours we are available to serve you remotely.
  • The small, but mighty, Mimi team has been working hard to get every consigned item we have in stock up on our Facebook page for your perusal.
  • Our apologies, we are not currently buying or consigning. We will let you know as soon as we feel it is safe and feasible to do so, but you can always email pictures of items you’re interested in consigning with us to info@mimisatticithaca.com!

We invite you to browse our inventory from the comfort of home! 🏡 CLICK HERE and look for the albums with “For Sale” in the title (i.e. “Lighting – For Sale!”). We are continually adding to these albums, so keep checking back!

View our Instagram HERE. Think of Instagram as the “highlights reel” – not everything gets posted there, just some of our favorites! Though we post to Instagram frequently, you’ll find much more of our inventory on the Facebook albums.

If you’re looking for something specific and you don’t see it posted on our social media, give us a call, shoot us a direct message, or email us. We’ll be happy to help you find what you’re looking for. If we don’t have it, we can add you to the wishlist. While we aren’t accepting new items right now, our buyers can keep an eye out for you when buying resumes.

We are (kind of) here and happy to serve you remotely!

Hello, Mimi Fans! This is Store Owner, Kelly Moreland. During this “NY State on Pause” order, I am working from home and Mimi’s Attic is staffed with one team member at a time to fulfull remote orders. Though the sales floor is closed, someone is working at the store every day from 10am-4pm. We anticipate operating this way until the pause is lifted. We truly miss serving you in person and look forward to opening our doors to you as soon as we are able. In the meantime, if you are in the market for any of our merchandise, we are happy to serve you remotely with contact-free pick up outside the store. Below are some questions and answers regarding our services at this time: 

Q: How would shopping remotely work? 

A: If you are in the market for something specific …

Message us on Facebook or Instagram, call us at (607) 882-9038  or email us at info@mimisatticithaca.com. Let us know what you are looking for and we will send you photos of merchandise to help you make your decisions. With only one person on site, we might take a little longer getting back to you, but we will get in touch as soon as we can. Purchases are made over the phone by Store Credit, Gift Certificates or Credit Card. We would then make an appointment with you for a contact-free pick up outside the store. If you buy something that might require assistance getting it into your vehicle, please bring along someone who you are already in close contact with such as a family member, roommate or partner as our team member will not be able to come outside to assist you. All sales are final at this time.

Go to our Facebook photo albums HERE and shop from any of the albums that have “For Sale” in their title. Many of these photo albums were made right before we closed, so don’t be discouraged by the dates. If you see something you like, give us a call right away. We are doing our best to keep these albums up to date when we sell items, so it is very likely we still have the item. We will continue to add more items to these albums and will do our best to keep them current. This is a temporary system and a work in progress. 

Q: Are you taking in consignments or buying merchandise?

A: We are sorry to say that we are not buying or consigning merchandise at this time. If you receive emails from us and follow us on social media, you will be the first to hear when we are. If you have a large quantity to consign and want to make sure you are among the first to hear, please email us at info@mimisatticithaca.com and I will add you to our list of people to contact when we are consigning again.
